Regarding the special measures that are to be undertaken on the occasion of the funerals for the Saint Patriarch Priest Teoctist, the office for information and public relation of the Protection and Guard Service is mandated to communicate the following:
- Measures for traffic restrictions
On the 3rd of August 2007 beginning with 7.30am until 2.00pm the vehicles traffic will be restricted on the following streets: Bd. Queen Mary, 11th June Street and Serban Voda Road. During these hours there will be admitted only buses, ambulances, police cars, fire brigades. - The access towards the metropolitan church for the citizens who want to take part at the funeral service
The citizens who want to take part at the funeral service may have access to the metropolitan church from the Unirii Square, through Serban Voda Road. - The car park for the citizens who arrive form the country to assist at the funerals
All the cars arriving from the country shall be directed towards the Constitution Square (car park) and in front of the Carol Park. - Access for the officials to the place of the funerals
Accesul delegațiilor străine și române către locul unde va fi oficiată slujba de înmormântare se va face din strada 11 iunie începând cu orele 8.00. - Accesul reprezentanților mass-media înspre locul unde se vor desfășura funeraliile
The press representatives that will assist at the funerals may enter the metropolitan church from the 11 June Street between 07.00am and 08.45am.
The access is guaranteed by accreditation and ID from the Romanian Patriarchate (the accreditation is obtained following the application sent to the press office of the patriarchate no later that 03.08.2007, until 20.00)
The placement of the TV equipment shall be done on the 3rd of August on the sites established by the organizers, no later than 22.00.
