SPP officers - mission in Darfur
SPP officers - mission in Darfur
On Friday 31st of August 2007, the 12 SPP
officers that have been selected and accepted to perform missions for
UN in Sudan — Darfur, left towards the mission area.
This group of officers is going to perform protection
and guard missions in order to ensure the safety and physical integrity
of the high officials from UN.
We state that at present, the Protection and Guard
Service has got 24 officers executing missions for UN that are deployed
in Sudan and Afghanistan.
In 2004, UN signed a Memorandum with the Protection
and Guard service in order to provide protection for some UN
dignitaries that satisfy their mandates in Sudan and Afghanistan.
