On
his way out of the Chamber meeting, he was shot from a short distance
by a person who remained unknown; the assassin shot two bullets, one of
which brought about the dignitary’s death by hitting him in the
back of his neck.

Ion C. Brătianu, the prime minister of Romania
|
On
his way out of the Chamber meeting, I.C. Brătianu was attacked by a
person (Ivan Petraru) armed with a 20-cm. edged knife. The dignitary
managed to defend himself and he was only slightly wounded.

|
The
aggressor pretended to be fixing a car and, at the moment when Brătianu
came close, he shot once. The gun was deviated by the police agent who
provided protection for the dignitary. The aggressor could not shoot
the second fire as he was captured by the crowd.

|
After
a meeting at the Peleș Castle with king Carol the IInd, I.G. Duca was
attacked by legionaries (Constantinescu, Belimace and Caranica) on the
platform of the station in Sinaia and shot 5 times, from a close
distance, by the first one of them. His companion, doctor
Constantinescu, was wounded. The assassins were caught.

One
of the officers who had facilitated the king’s return in the
country, was convinced by the members of the opposition that the king
and Elena Lupescu were the cause of all the wrongs in the country. The
conspiracy was revealed and the instigator was sentenced to ten years
of hard prison.

Armand Călinescu, the prime minister of Romania |
On
of the way from the Ministry towards home, the car of Armand Călinescu
was blocked by a car in which there were the killers. In the cross-fire
the driver was killed and the guard agent was wounded but he escaped by
running away. Armand Călinescu was killed by over 20 bullets shot by
the aggressors.

Madgearu was kidnapped from his house by a group of legionaries and,
close to the Snagov’ area, he was shot from a short distance with
several bullets of callibre 6 and 8 millimeters.

As
he was in an open conflict with C.Z. Codreanu, Nicolae Iorga was
accused of having contributed to the former’s death, through his
attitude. As a consequence of that, he was kidnapped, tortured and
killed by a group of legionaries at the same time with Virgil Madgearu
and other important representatives of the Romanian political life.
