Between the 1st ant the 5th of June, representatives of the Polish and Dutch institutions which are the counterpart of The Protection and Guard Service, came to Romania.
On this occasion there were held a series of meetings with leaders of departments within The Protection and Guard Service, with a view to exchanging experience, to discussing the solutions of operational cooperation at the joint missions and to identifying the solutions, in order to upgrade the bilateral cooperation.
This visit is part of the cooperation meetings among the institutions whose main objective is to provide protection for dignitaries; the above mentioned institutions are members of E.N.P.P.F. (European Network for the Protection of Public Figures), which was founded in 2002, through a Decision of the European Council, in order to make efficient the cooperation between the national police services or other services in charge with the protection of high officials.
At the end of the visit the guests appreciated the efficient organiation structure of The Protection and Guard Service, the very good training of the personnel that work for this service as well as the excellent cooperation within A.P.P.S. (The iInternational Association of the Protection Services) and E.N.P.P.F. (The European Network for the Protection of Public Figures ).
